I'm doing some fundraising and have some items to part with. All items include CONUS shipping. I'm willing to ship internationally but only via registered mail, which is a minimum of $15 extra. If you're serious about something send me a PM. Payment by Paypal only.

First is a very rare cased Leresche #51 (I believe). Overall in fine condition. It has some braising on the handle and some tarnish from an old blade I was too lazy to fully remove. None of the teeth appear to be bent. Asking $225

Next I have a very rare Aluminum Aristocrat 66 with the case and case insert in the top. I would call the condition of the razor near mint to mint. It looks as if it was barely used. It has maybe 2 very small water spots on the doors I haven't touched but is otherwise pristine. I imagine it would come up with some polish, but I thought I would offer it here first as is. I believe it is rhodium plated.

It doesn't have any wear or chipping on the knob bottom, knurling, or neck as is commonly seen on these Aristocrats.

The outside of the case has some residue on it, which may be removable, but I am not familiar with how. The exterior has some minor wear, but the inside is very clean as you can tell.

Asking $325 shipped CONUS, international PM me if interested. SOLD

Please do not post PM sent unless you are serious about buying. The prices on both of these razors is firm.

Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions, and thanks for looking

The Leresche looks like it has a similar profile and proportions as a Rotbart Mond Extra (which I understand is also similar to a Gillette New OC). Is it similar in feel and shave to a Mond Extra?

I personally have not tried the Mond Extra. I would say the Leresche is closer to the New Deluxe than the New.

There is some discussion of it here (about halfway down the first post):

Head is very similar to the Merkur open comb. I would say that of modern razors the Leresche 51 is closest to the 11C (which is unfortunately no longer in production).
