FOUR simultaneous auctions for NOS Wilkinson Sticky razors just completed on eBay this evening. I think the final prices are a great deal for this razor, NOS. Anyone else get in on the action?

What did they end up selling for? I've always thought the majority of Sticky's I've seen sell on the B/S/T were reasonably priced. This is a perfect example of why having our B/S/T is so nice.

These went for $105-120. You are right though, Travis. When a Sticky shows up on our BST, it usually is very reasonably priced. On eBay, however, prices can be out of control.

I was watching these auctions. Very rare to see so many offered for sale at once. I was a little hesitant because there were only pictures of one set duplicated in each auction. But the set that was pictured looked to be in very good condition. Congrats to the buyers!

As far as what makes them "great" . . . well the handle is "sticky" when wet. I would describe it more as a "tacky" feeling. It can improve the grip a bit. IMO it is also just a great looking sleek razor. The shave is very mild, though.

Here is a picture of one I used to own--English market version. Simply a stunning set.

I agree. The Wilkinson razor is a very classy razor, all around. I had one, sold it, and immediately regretted letting it go. I couldn't resist this auction, and I'm quite thrilled to be receiving one, NOS.

Congrats on the purchase.

I definitely regret selling mine and was bidding on all four, I ended up lowballing and not winning any of them. I regret that, too.
