Have been beyond 60 brushes and then down to 30 and now back to 50... less purchases but more focused ones... and reinvesting from previous sales Cool

Will it ever end? Of course not. The quest for the holy grail brush continues... Biggrin

Since I got banned for life from the "other forum" (I don't even know what for exactly) I can now dedicate my energy to TSN... Shy

Enjoy your shaves, gents...

You too !

I asked them to close my account - since I refused to lick the mods carpets and floor Smile

SBAD never stops, like you I'm hovering around 50-60 badger brushes..

But find it harder to get excited over new brushes. It really takes a special brush for me to buy it.....

Now all three of us are full time 'Nookers!

Yes, sbad never ceases... I have tried as well to narrow down the herd and get out of the brush buying game, but it ever lasts...Wink

Banned? From that other site? For no good reason? Add me to the list, make it four. Fwiw, I really enjoyed the place. I think it's a terrific resource & web site... but one day, one mod decided to take an issue with me for no reason as far as I could tell.

For this forums sake and the sake of members who are active on both (and this sites owner and founder, Phil, who is a vendor on the site you are trashing), there is no need to bad mouth other forums (as TSN rules state) it is not tolerated...unless you are trying to get banned here too

(I was referring to the post above, which has been edited, but reel it in guys, get over it)

My SBAD is under control. I have about 10 badgers and use them in rotation, 1 week with each. That gives them all plenty of use and enough variety to handle any product or lather method.

I got banned from "Beavers & Weiners", but it wasn't a shaving site.Tongue

Just to be clear: I am not trashing anybody... neither a forum nor an individual or more on either end...

No issues with your post German, the one above mine was out of line, but was quickly changed.

SBAD? ... incurable I'm afraid.

The fun part of this disease is trying to fight it.

It is especially hard to fight when brush handles in cobalt, jade, faux ivory stripes, disco, etc are coming off the lathe...Tongue

Let's forget the other site whilst we are here. This place is fresh, well mannered & personal.

It will only grow in membership as people discover the abundance of knowledge that is shared here.

The mods are first class operators.

I just joined, have been on the other forums but like what I see here. I've had a long love affair with brushes but the most I ever had was about 15. Temporarily down to 9 but have three incoming, not sure how that happened. I was doing well, hadn't bought a brush in 8 months and then three in not much more than a week.

I have shaving brush handle addiction.

After just taking delivery of over 4,000 new brushes, I think I'm pretty set. I think....

Well...., just one more, I can buy one more right? And since I'm bringing in that other one, it's okay if I bring in it's 499 siblings right? I'm not crazy.... right?

Not only does your handle addiction affect you Lee, you in turn spread the sbad disease and feed the rest of us with your fine brushes. It is a no win for anyone's bank accounts.
