Is Amazon generally regarded as the best place to buy blades in bulk? I have bought many 100 packs from there and having Amazon Prime makes the shipping free. However, while they carry some they generally don't carry many Personna blades. Where are these blades usually offered at the best price for a 100 pack. I think I'm wanting to try some Red IP's soon.

I wouldn't say in general it's the best place to buy blades because they don't have that many to offer. However, I do buy my Astra Blades on Amazon at around $8.00 per 100.

I buy things from Amazon, for for an extra couple of dollars, I'd rather support a "family" business that gives us shavers many options and excellent customer service.

Best in my mind is one of our sponsors like Bullgooose. Blades are so cheap, happy to support a small business.

Me too. If possible I rather buy from a small business than Amazon. There are many excellent sellers out there, and several are active members of this forum.

There is an ebay sell, cant recall which one, that sells Personna Labs for around $12 a hundred.

So the Labs are the Blues right? Do the Reds go under something else other than Red IPs?

Local shave emporiums are non-existent in my area and I have to order online. I do try to buy from those that support and contribute to various site/forums.

I agree with this. If you're a Prime member, it might be worth it (for instance I got a bunch of Schick injector razors off Amazon and the price was competitive and two-day shipping was great), but there are plenty of other avenues.

If you're willing to wait, there are alot of Asian-based eBay sellers who sell DE blades in bulk. There used to be a couple of vendors on B&B who sold blades, but I haven't seen too much participation from them recently.

Of course, I find that Bullgoose, Italian Barber, and the like are pretty competitive as well, with piece of mind that you are getting what you're paying for.

Yes, as stated, probably for Prime members it is good, but there are exceptions...Recently I got 100 Astra SP from the BST of another forum for $7 shipped, but this is the exception and generally not the rule.

I like googling what I'm looking for and seeing what the results are. I even used my phone app - Google Goggles and got a darn good deal on 100 Derby's for a recent convert to wet-shaving.

But for the most part I just go to Amazon and look around.

**EDIT** I'd like to support more members here, but shipping and tax makes it not cost effective for me, so I usually end up looking for a BST sale or sale on Amazon where my Prime membership makes it free to ship. But Amazon recently started charging tax, so the only thing keeping me away from some vendors is the shipping now.

Check eBay for the Personna blades. Several sellers have them for $13 per hundred. Beautyzone2000 is the one I have bought from pure personally and never had a problem.
