I received a package of Gillette Minora blades today after being out for some time. I liked them when I initialy started using them, and I have to say I was very impressed again. It makes me wonder why they have gotten no love on this forum. Has anyone else used them, and if so, what were your thoughts?

Made in Russia at there St Petersburg Plant. Every time I've used them I've gotten great shaves. They have a very cool packaging as well. I gave one to my dad who is a seasoned wet shaver a while back and he got great shaves as well. He also raved about their durability telling me he was still getting great shaves after the fifth time.

Yes, Minora is one of the brand names still produced by P&G in St. Petersburg.

Never heard of them and I certainly am not finding much online. The only vendor I see with them is WCS at $55 for 100. Wow... I think I am sticking with what I already use.

When searching images I noticed that these blades have been around a long time. I'm not sure if they have recently been brought back after being discontinued or not but there were some pretty old vintage pictures of them.

They look good enough to eat after the shave.

I know it's the wrong spelling but the first thing that came to mind was the Menorah.

"Makes a single snurdle of shaving cream last 8 days!"
