Another good Indian cream which is apparently low-priced over there.

Ease of lathering: 10/10--Lathers exactly like a Godrej cream - very easily with no effort.

Longevity of lather: 10/10--You can easily do multiple passes with this stuff.

General skincare: 8/10--Quite protective. The cooling effect is much lighter than Godrej Menthol Mist.

Scent: 7/10--OK, but nothing spectacular.

Price: 10/10--Very low. The tube is also very large at 125 grams.

Would I buy again: 6/10--I would have to think about it. I prefer Godrej Menthol Mist by far.

If you are looking for good value, this cream may be for you - a big tube for little money. It gives honest performance and does the job very well. If you're a menthol junkie like I am, this cream might disappoint you. The cooling sensation is very light. In fact, it doesn't even say menthol is listed among the ingredients!

I certainly agree with Jeff's overall assessment of the Vi-John cream (and thanks for sending me a tube to try, Jeff). For my take on it, see my SOTD here: http://shavenook.com/thread-sotd-july-29...012?page=2.

Freddy, I wanted to mention, in fact, I have such a farshtopte kop, that I forgot to mention that the Vi-john cream I sent you is the regular variety. There ain't no menthol in it. The mentholated version is so light in the cooling that it's insignificant.
