Forever Amber...

The colour Amber is a pure chroma colour.
Amber is located on the colour wheel midway between yellow and orange.
The colour name is derived from the material also known as Amber.
The material Amber is fossilized tree resin.
Since Neolithic times, Amber has been appreciated for its beautiful colour.
Amber has been used in the manufacture of jewellery and ornaments.
As well as folk medicine and perfumery.
"Forever Amber" a novel by Kathleen Winsor was banned in 14 US states.
Yet is responsible for the popularisation of Amber as a girl's given name.

With the popularity of Butterscotch coloured shaving brushes
both the real aged Catalin and now the newer imitation version
it's little wonder that Mark and the team at Simpsons
now offer an even more alluring handle option with...

Thanks Ravi.

Given the Chubby 2 is one of Simpson's most iconic and loved brushes and that the Manchurian grade has already been tirelessly discussed, I decided to focus on the newest and most unique element to the brush - the rod stock and the inspiration behind it...

I agree, I think gold lettering would be "lost" on this handle.

How beautiful,Ben! This brush could break my "only-one-item-per-type" rule.

Nice material, I use it for years now. Although it is sold as amber, most of my customers (and I) called it "Marbled Butterscotch".
