Gents, I have 10 (yes, 10) pucks of tallow EF shaving soap refills unsealed and unboxed. They will be shipped priority mail, sealed in saran wrap and shipping tape. Price is $90 each. Because they are a little bit larger than normal (barely), I am going to sell these for $75 each. Now, $60. Buy more than one, knock off $5 of each puck. ONE PUCK LEFT!

How do these differ from the ones on the web-site?

The tallow ones say "English Fern" on the front. The non-tallow just say "Penhaligon". Boxes were lost in transit.

10 boxes lost in transit, but the soaps made it Huh

Also, according to Pens site, the ones they show say "English fern" on them still

Was doing a little tongue in cheek there. I bought these like this. To my understanding, the new ones do not say English Fern on them. Here is what I thought the new formulation looks like:

Now someone correct me if I am wrong. However, when I went to put one of these in the newer bowls, the puck is a little too big. The soap lathers well though....Am I mistaken here folks?

Here is the lather from one of the pucks. It's identical to my wooden bowl tallow.

It is in my original post, $75 a puck and if you buy more than one puck, knock off $5 for each additional.

The tallow EF is one of the lost lamented treasures. The price, while high, is reflective of its value.

Yep, Shaun. One sold new in the wood bowl for $150 on ebay recently. I am selling these because my wife and I are expecting and she is doing some "Spring cleaning". Lowered to $60 a puck. Same rules apply as above with $5 off per additional puck you buy. This is a great deal for tallow lovers.

As I say good luck, and particularly with the child on the way. Tallow is not that rare. Palmolive, anyone? I couldn't bring myself to spend that much on a puck of shaving soap. But go for it.

I'm gonna try a couple of them. This was the greatest soap of all times IMHO. I believe they are tallow by what he has explained to me.

The Tallow Penhaligons soap was discontinued several years ago and is as precious as hens teeth. Shaun - this soap is vastly superior to Palmolive in performance and scent. $60 a puck is an absolute steal.

If interested we should move the discussion of the product/performance to the appropriate forum and not in the sellers B/S/T listing.

Thanks! Also, I just confirmed with Sak's NYC...the current formulation of Pen's EF says Penhaligon's London on the actual soap (shown above). I am thinking this soap might be from the 80's as it reminds me of an old puck of Lord's I had. These pucks are all very fragrant.
