In your wet shaving career, what are the items you've not tried yet and really want to experience? For me, it's an Open Comb TTO Aristocrat. I've chased em on the bay, chased em on Etsy, and chased em on various BST's and always fall short in the end. That's the one razor that I've been dying to try and haven't yet. I figure as much as I love my Open Comb Senator and Sheraton, that I'd love an Aristocrat as well. Everything else I'd like to try (soaps, creams, brushes) are easily accessible, but the Aristocrat isn't so much.

I'm a soap addict, so I want to try some examples of just about every type and region of soap. I'm definitely missing Germany, Portugal, Spain and the whole of Eastern Europe at this point.

I also plan to try a single edge razor (one on the way from a PIF) and an injector before all is said and done.

I'm always on the hunt for these three vintage soaps:

1. Kanøn
2. Lenthèric
3. Houbigant Fougère Royale

(If anyone has any for sale or trade send me a pm!)

I am always looking at new soaps. I really would love to see more masculine cologne scented soaps. I think that is why I like Tabac, TOBS Sandalwood and C&E Sienna so much.

My dream soap would be if P&G released an "Old Spice inspired" hard soap in the AOS line. I think that would stop my searching. I also try every Bay Rum scented soap released but none have hit the target for me yet.

Well, someday I won't be able to use Floid Blue, so I am looking for a replacement. As of right now, I have not found one.

I forgot a few. A 1973 T4 Travel Tech set, a 1973 T4 Long handled adjustable, and a 1973 T4 Atra Handle, just to complete my birth set.

I am with the OP. I would love to find a Sheraton, Senator and the OC Aristocrat. I love Gillette OC they shave wonderfully. Also a pipe dream for me is a Eclipse Red Ring but the prices when you find one is astronomical.

I want an open comb Gem Damaskeene razor. I think they only made them one year. I have the closed comb version, which is common.

As for the hunt: I'd like to try a Hoffritz slant and a Tulip 2 two-band. I haven't hunted very hard for either as my interests and dollars have been pursuing other items. But, you did ask.

I'm always on the hunt for anything 1978, birth year and all. An OC TTO DE would be very nice to add to the collection. Vintage soaps and AS of all kinds have a permanent place on the radar. The ultimate number one item to track down, and unfortunately something I've never found and am unlikely to ever find, is something, anything, that a family member used. I've checked in with everyone and it looks like I'm never going to add something that personalSad In it's place, I'm at least wanting to find a razor, or something of the like, that comes with a story. I haven't been so lucky in that area. No razors in my collection have been acquired from someone who knows anything more than, "It's an old razor, we must have had it around for a while". Oh well, some day... I hope.

This sums it up for me, too. Near the top of the list would be any "F-1" Gillettes in good shape. (my birth "code")I did get a chuckle when I read Mr Guy say "I'm always on the hunt for anything 1978". My first thought was; Somewhere in my den is a High School diploma with that says 1978 on it...........

After some years of wet-shaving, I still have lots of things to try, but my "AD" is well under control, so I'm not "actively" after stuff.
Whenever I see something that's a good deal under its regular price, be it as a group-buy or trade, I might consider purchasing it.
I suppose there are few items I'd like to try in the future:
Martin de Candre soap
Custom made straight razor, a Livi would be nice
Some nice AS and Colognes
