Saw this on Reddit today. Thought it was pretty neat.

What do you think?

Holy smokes, that must be very uncomfortable to hold! Are you going to try it, Dale?Biggrin

OK, but is it grippy?

2nd thought... I hope it's stainless steel.

3rd thought... very umhum (clearing throat), homely. Next up is how to shave with a surform tool and a power planer.

Note to self... you need more handles.

FWIW, this past April 1st I decided to make my own version of the linked to handle but in a more "minimalist hiking" version. It's a little lightweight during the shave, but one can find a handle most everywhere while in the bush.

And it has a built in angle.

If I had it, I would give it a try.

Just thought it was fairly interesting project.

I'd buy it, but I'm afraid I'd get screwed.
