This razor came in just for scales. The client did the blade work.
I did up some Purpleheart with an ivory colored wedge and shaped the wedge end to match the angle of the tip of the blade.

Thanks Mike. I do think the scales should compliment the blades.
I also wish I was allowed to polish this piece as I'm sure it would have been terrific. Regardless , it still looks nice.

How do you finish the purpleheart?

I have a huge inventory of purpleheart from some old humidor projects.. I always did a french polish, but I don't think that would be durable enough for scales..
