I am wanting to know what everyone consides their softest brush to be. I have a quite few nice brushes (not near as many as many of you!) and I feel that with all the special brushes out there d-01/ 2bands/ manchurian etc... the special ways of grading tends to muddy the water. Sometimes distilling things down to simpler terms makes it easier for some. I am not saying that makers should change by any means because variety makes the world go-round but at the same time soft -softer-softest dense denser densest firm firmer firmest would be nice!! ROFL

I am just curious what you as a brush lover consider to be your most luxurious and soft brush.

My softest brush so far in my wet shaving carrer is my Kent Bk4.

My softest ever was a huge Plisson Plexi in EW, possibly a size 24 (but there was some confusion about the size). It was like lathering with a mop.

Simpson The Duke 3 Best Badger

My first brush and the brush I still use most. It's held up great and still has Good backbone. Yet it is fantastically soft. Great face lathering brush. I would highly recommend the brush to anyone. It can do it all.

Probably the softest brush I've ever used was the 2006 B&B LE in Finest. Brush was a moppy mess though. More readily available would be a Thater 3 band.

I don't have many but my shavemac d-01 3 band is like silk. Great backbone and very dense. Awesome all around brush.
