Ok - I've been narrowing my big brush search to these two brushes (Vulfix 2236 or 41). I mainly face lather with creams, but one advantage I see with the 2236 is I might be able to bowl lather better. But the 2236 might be too floppy. Advice?

If I were buying a Vulfix badger right now, I'd go for the 40 in Silvertip. Not a cheap brush but that thing looks awesome.

If "floppy" is an issue then Vulfix may not be your brand.

2236 is floppier than the 41 and has a longer loft and is less dense. I face lathered with the 2236 and it is fine, but I like moppy brushes.

You might want to get the 40. It has the same knot as the 41 but is the size of the 2236.

I just replied to your question about my V41 here. I don't bowl lather, but the handle on the V41 is pretty big, so I don't think it would be an issue.
