Hi lads,Geordie Sam here,
can I please start this post by saying I have just had a private message from Freddy, for which I am very grateful.
In ALL my posts I try to be polite and respectful, somewhere along this road I seem to have lost my way somewhat, and for that I can only apologise again.
If I came across as a bit rude, which in hindsight I really think I did, then it is purely my own fault.
I sometimes have a tendancy to get my "retaliation" in first.
So it's 10 Hail Mary's for me tonight, followed by an act of contrition.
Sam.

All I will say Freddy is that it was a "canny attempt" at Geordie.

I shouldn't think you'd have to worry about that. Basically, we're a good lot around here. It's just that we all have the same flaw... we're human. Thumbsup

I could convert it into Scouse, but you'd get even 'loster'.

What I was trying to say, by using an English to Geordie translator, was: "It's all good, Sam. Now it's on to the pub for a drink." Obviously, it amused Sam so I guess I wasn't 100% accurate. 24

Forgiveness for what? You have done nothing against me. We're good.

Dino,I was once in a local corner shop buying some Bic disposables, when a fellow customer turned to me and said "they will give you a terrible shave, they're hopeless",I then had to explain that they weren't for me,they were for my mother. That is a true story, she would get the odd bit of growth on her chin as she got older, and hated the thought of not looking feminine.
Sam.

Nothing wrong with a good BIC Single Blade Disposable. I use them for my travel razor and at home from time to time. I can get a very close and comfortable 2-pass shave with one.

Unless they've changed over the last few decades, Johnny, they were awful for me and would leave nicks and cuts. As much as I am not crazy about them, when I must use a travel razor, one of the newer breed like a Fusion or Hydro works better for me. In all fairness, though, I have not used a BIC disposable in at least 20 years.
