So its been forever and a day since I have bought a new Trumper's soap and can't remember or know for that matter which scents were formulated to the Eucris formula... Are they all being made with the newer formula, or are there still scents they didn't mess with?

I'm hoping they didn't touch the Almond, I think they might have messed with the Limes and Coconut, but heck if I can keep track and remember lol.

It appears that all of the Trumper soaps are being made to the new formulations. There's still some old stock floating around, look for production codes on the outter cardboard package that are from early 2011 or older. The current reformulation began in 2011 and has been taking place with each variety of soap as stocks were depleted. As far as I'm concerned it's time to completely write off Trumper's soaps and move to another brand. DR Harris is still Tallow base by the way.

Cheers,

Craig

Well that sucks Sad. I already use Harris soaps, but I'm not the biggest fan of the scents until they age lol.

Until they can prove their worth, I'm totally against buying any Trumper's soap these days. A couple of months ago I was very lucky to find a two, 2008 Rose soaps in wooden bowls in a side street hairdressers in York. These perform excellently but the current offerings, not a chance of entering my rotation!

So have they now reformulated their product into oblivion?

That's what I have now, I think my puck was from 2008/9 and it still has its Rose scent to it. I wish I picked up another puck of Almond then too, oh well.

Aaron, if you still have the packaging, the last two numbers of the 5 digits is the year of manufacture. ie:- 27508 would mean 2008 manufacture.

No problem, Emanuel. For what it's worth, I would only buy another Trumper's soap if made up to and including 2009. 2010 onwards, I would avoid.

David, sadly I don't have any packaging materials, or the bowl, I placed my refills in a nice ceramic dish.

Aaron, if the soap performs well with stable lather, then it's a good one irrespective of date. Enjoy.
