If anyone is thinking of selling their Cobra Classic razor, I would like to buy it.

Thanks!

If I had two Andrew I would sell you one in a minute. They are hard to get because very few are produced by Classic Shaving and nobody else makes them. Usually nobody wants to sell theirs because they are incredible shavers. If I see one someplace I will let you know. Good luck.

Thanks for looking out for me. I am definitely going to pick one up from CS when they get them back in stock. Unless I get lucky with this WTB post. Never hurts to ask...

Andrew, I held out too long and have now missed a chance at a new one and more recently, on BST. Confused Best of luck.

No gloating, brother. Just pure unadulterated joy at my good fortune.

One will come your way, Andrew. Have faith.

Right you are, Ken. Word on the street is CS will have them back in stock the second week of April.

Wait a sec... That's any day now!

Well, I guess I won't have to wait for the restock. A Cobra Classic is on its way to me. Bottom line, it never hurts to ask!

Bill, I'll credit Shawn's comments at Tacodeli as enabling this purchase. And it didn't help that I am very hard pressed to find anything but positive reviews of this thing.

Can't wait...

Good luck with the Cobra, Andrew.
Just be careful with the Feather blades the first two shaves.

What makes this razor different from other injectors? Is the blade length longer, so it seems like a straight?

Exactly, it uses the same blades as the Artists Club series. Extremely sharp and they last a good long while.

The longer blade length makes it a little different than other injectors, but I don't think this razor is much like a straight, at least not to me.

I had my first shave with my new Cobra last night and really, really enjoyed it. This is an instant mainstay in my shave den. I liken the shave most to my GEM OCMM, but I like the Feather Pro blades better than the available GEMs, and I like the narrower Cobra head. It feels more maneuverable in spots like my upper lip. Sure, the head is longer, but you can use just the ends to shave the tight spots.

My experience exactly, Andrew (with a "tour" Cobra over at B&B). With it's slim head, I just poked the ends into tight spots and it worked wonderfully. Glad you're enjoying the ride. Why I didn't pull the trigger on my own when I could is beyond me. Probably buying brushes at the time. Rolleyes

Must do TacoDeli again soon...

Sí, Tacodeli. Had lunch with one of my little dudes there yesterday (Lamar). Mmmmmm.

I'm teeing up for another Cobra shave in a few minutes - Cella and Rooney Stubby 2XL. Should be good.
