I'm new here so I decided to introduce my little group of shaving brushes as well as my brush journey to everyone. I'm a novice brush junkie, still gaining knowledge and experimenting with different sizes, shapes, and hair grades. My first brush was a cheap little Jagger Boar. I didn't mind the boar hair but hated the cheap hollow plastic handle so I replaced it with a Semogue 830. Never had much luck with the 830 so next I decided to try out a cheap badger and ordered a Whipped Dog. Once I tried the Whipped Dog Silver Tip I fell in love with badgers and haven't looked back. My journey continued but I won't bore you with all the details.
Here's my current line up:

(from left to right)
1. Olive wood handle with a TGN 26mm Finest Badger XH knot set between 51-52mm.
2. Elite Razor custom made Russian Bog Oak handle with a 22mm Silver Tip set at 46-47mm loft.
3. Franks Shaving Imitation Ivory handle with 22mm Finest Badger knot set at about a 45-46mm loft.
4. Last but knot least (hehe) a Whipped Dog butterscotch handle with a 20mm TGN Super Badger Fan knot set at about a 43mm loft.

Nothing to write home about but I really love all these brushes. Once I graduate from Grad School and get a real job, my flock will surely upgrade but for now this keeps me more than satisfied.

That WD Butterscotch has a good composition to the handle in terms of color.

Enjoy!

Well, that's a nice set of brushes you have there. I notice in the background you also have a nice scuttle. Good luck with Grad School.

Thanks guys. I agree with you Churchill I enjoy the variety between them. I like the color of the Whipped Dog butterscotch as well Gary, I think they hit the nail on the head, at least for my preferences.
