Now that I have a jar on the way thanks to the B/S/T here, I'm curious if there is any special way to lather this. I just watched a video made my Testie on you tube, but that guy can make any lathering look easy.

Any method will be fine, you can just look at MdC and it will explode.

Nothing special in how to lather. All the special qualities reveal themselves as the lather explodes into a dense cream. Simply enjoy. That is all. Biggrin

I've tried to screw up a MdC lather a couple times. It can't be done. Like Arcadies said, you look at it and it explodes in lather..Literally.

Good for you Tony! Clap

If it wasn't so darn expensive it would be, hands down, the best soap for a noob. It simply can't be screwed up.

Which MdC did you acquire? All three are great, I'm just curious. You'll need to let us know how you like it in a bit.

Work a damp brush around for about 20 seconds and then the lather explodes. Face lather and add water as needed, if any.

Awesome, someone else who isn't stingy with their loading times. Love it Johnny!

You should see me load MWF. I buy the products to use, not to see how long they last.

With soft water you can get a 3 pass shave with a 6 second load time. I have tried and it works!

I loaded for 10-15 seconds and had plenty for a 3-pass shave. I'll be passing this tub down to my grandkids.

Very generous of you greyhawk. I can't wait for mine to arrive. Here's to hoping my results are as great as everyone else. I think I am just now getting my lather method down, using this Marco method. I'll make sure though I don't start out with a dripping wet brush with the MdC.

Got my Mdc in from the recent sale of some on B/S/T. Thing is now what, I got the glass jar and could smell the great scent of the scented coming from the box it shipped in. Question is, do I keep the lid on when not in use? I have read some reports about people keeping it covered. Is this for the wooden bowl type of both? This stuff just looks like greatness before a single use.

I always dry the top of the soap off when done and screw the lid down tight.
