I'd like to take a few moments to share with you a little club I'm sometimes quite proud to be a part of. This little club is the Bespoke Post Box of Awesome. Every Month the guys at Bespoke Post send out a notice of a Box of Awesome that they have put together for their members. This box can contain just about anything you can think of. It's gone from a bitters mixer, to a whisky snob's box (wish I would have grabbed this one), to a backyard griller's sampler, to a wet shaver's sampler (this is what brought me in), and most recently the box I'm presenting to you here.

First and foremost, I have no association with Bespoke Post, or any company that is featured in this "Box of Awesome", just a happy member.

First we'll take a photo tour....The Box...

This is how the box arrives at your door, minus the pocket knife of course..Yikes..

The Packing...

Inside the box is wrapped in tissue, with their logo.

The unveiling...

Each box, has a theme.

The meat of the Box...

This is why I opted in to this months box. A good Dopp Kit is not hard to find, but one stuffed with goodies, well that's even better.

The Goods...

A group shot of the open Dopp, and all the things they stuffed inside.

The Dopp Kit...

Blue Claw provided this Dopp Kit. A company that manufactures everything right here in the good ole US of A. High quality waxed canvas with a beautiful royal blue nylon lining, heavy brass rivets hold the leather handle and high quality brass zipper round it out. This item is not on their website, but anyone who's priced a Dopp knows they can run a pretty penny. I'm guessing this one ran around 50, before Bespoke bought them out.

Cleanliness...You know the rest..
I'm a fan of Cremo, the Sasquatch intrigues me, and who doesn't love Marvis? All of these I'm very anxious to try.

The Vitamins...
For those that ordered the bitters or the whisky box...This helps put back the stuff that long nights can take away..That's what the card says anyway..

Soft and Dry...
Gold Bond is good stuff, can't deny that. These are all ready in my cabinet, so these will make great additions to the Dopp for my next trip.

For the stuff I don't have...
I'm bald so this goes to my son. He's already used and proclaimed to love the reformer. The shampoo is a full 8.5 oz bottle of their double hitter. Both by Paul Mitchell..

The Low Down...
The cost of the "Box of Awesome" is always the same. Forty-five US shipped right to your door. You are given a preview of the box every month and have five days to opt in or out. They go out on the 15th of every month and arrive shortly after for your enjoyment. This is the part I like best. Unlike other groups I'm a part of, like Style Girlfriend's Quarterly, you get a say whether or not you want to pay for this one. For no commitment, what have you got to loose? That's why I'm a member. And this month I'm loving this "Box".

Again, I have no association, but it's fun to have this opportunity. Hope y'all enjoyed, and hopefully you guys will check it out.(https://www.bespokepost.com/)

The Paul Mitchell Double Hitter is the best shampoo I have ever used. i was genuinely surprised by its performance. its the only shampoo which has actually impressed me enough to make it my one and only shampoo.

This is such a cool concept. I'm considering joining a similar type thing- it's called Birch Box.

btw- nice look on the Opinel knife. hand's down one of the best pocket knives I've ever owned.

I've heard good things about Birch Box too, but I haven't joined yet. I'd totally join if you could opt in or out on what the box contained for that month. Similarly, Style Girlfriend has a Quarterly thing she does. It's 35 bucks, and you can't opt out, but she puts a lot of work into her boxes.

The Opinel is truly a great knife. So elegant and simple. I want another one. This particular model is a No. 6 with an Olive Wood Handle. The best money I've ever spend on a pocket knife.

Heart the Opinel!

I bought 2 Opinels from REI 30 years ago. One was stolen out of my car in college. The other is in my desk drawer and opens my mail most days. It's my EDC knife when I travel in Europe - recognized everywhere as harmless (unlike, say, a Spyderco).

You can buy them from Smoky Mountain Knives in TN - they have a website. They sell lots of crap and "collector" knives but some good ones.

Awesome box. Thanks for sharing. I almost pulled the trigger on birch box a month ago. I didn't like the fact you did not have the option of opting out in a particular month. This one seems to have what I was looking for. I will check it out for sure.
