I too am wondering what was incased within the brush box? EDIT: Just saw the new PJ, very nice Ben!

Although I REALLY hate change, I must admit that the new boxes are very classy.

Very interesting brush. Was this a custom or is this a handle that Simpson now offers?

I like the new boxes and I really like the brush.
Great score Ben!

Still waiting on my Disco Haze M7.

Understandably many will not like how far this brush deviates from the standard Simpsons Ivory. I, for one, like that the foundation of the Simpsons line is the classic Ivory and that Mark offers some vastly different handles/materials to give a new twist on old classics.

I'm sure Mark is keenly aware that if these different types of handles were to become too widespread (always readily available, offered by many vendors) that they would lose some of their charm. He is walking that line with great expertise. The novelty has not worn off IMHO for these 'one-offs' of the Simpsons line.

Enjoy that unique take on the classic PJ Ben!

The PJ 3 of course is a permanent member of the Simpsons range.

The "Disco Haze" rod stock is available as a bespoke option.

However, this brush was not custom made for me and perhaps destined for the LE page, but when I saw it I knew it would be a most welcome addition!

IMO a wonderful modern take on a classic shape...

I'm not sure if this is the first Manchurian Persian Jar... Perhaps Mark can comment?

I agree whole heartedly and also hope that a "limitedness" can remain a feature of these Limited Editions...

However, of course if demand is there (and I'm sure it is) you can hardly blame Simpsons for attempting to meet it!

Yikes! Not likely to misplace that! It's certainly different. I think I like it though.

I love the handle material and had forgotten just how comfortable the shape of the Persian Jar is.
