The last few days have been extremely busy for me.  My birthday was on Friday (May 24th), on Saturday (May 25th) I had to clean up the house for the guests coming to my daughter's birthday party which was on Sunday (May 26th), her actual birthday as well as Memorial Day was on Monday (May 27th), and I had to do a crazy amount of clean up on Tuesday (May 28th).  All of this has left me with almost no time to write or post.  I have a few short stories and flash fiction pieces in the works, but I need some time to get them polished up before I can post them to my blog.

In order to give myself a little breathing room, and to take some time to finish up some writing projects, I have decided to pull out some notes and post some product reviews. This will give me some much needed time to finish up some things as well as a way to keep my blog from turning into a whole lot of dead air. My first couple of reviews should be ready later today and will be on L'Occitane Cade shave soap and De Vergulde Hand Extra Fris shave soap. If you're interested in these products, or just want something interesting to read, then stop by my blog, take a look around, leave a few comments, and let me know what you think.

Enjoy!

Nice reviews. I loved the introduction to your Dutch blades. Michigan is a very diverse state. I have a cousin that lives north of Detroit and I always enjoy my visits there.

Thanks for the compliment.

North of Detroit is much nicer than actual Detroit...which is a bit like a demilitarized zone...my sister lived in downtown Detroit and visiting her was always like going into an eastern European country during the 80s.

I have two more reviews up, one on the Sik Bay razor and one on The Art of Shaving's Unscented A/S Balm.
