Could actually be handy for shaving on the Go... and also very, very messy in the GoBag.

Thanks for sharing Smile

Ben,
But it did make the cut. Gillette marketed a brush/cream applicator here in the US in the 1990's. It was called Gillette Brush Plus.

My wife loved it and used it for my legs. I was already a brush and soap man. I remember trying it but preferring my mug, brush and soap.

I can't get a pic to stick even with imgur so here is a link to an ebay auction

Yes you are right the Gillette brush plus...

But did it ever have the same devoted following or revolutionary impact boasted by many other Gillette products?

There's also a system that I read about where they recommend that you take a standard brush, soak it as usual, and open a section in the middle of the knot and squirt some cream into it and lather.

Really? SHE used it on YOUR legs? Hmmm, gotta think about that.

No. It was a typo. She shaved her legs. Never shaved my legs. Even back when I raced a bicycle.

That invention was marketed as a time saver but no doubt a mess to deal with.

Weird inventions; this a perfect example of the invention complicating the procedure which it was meant to simplify.

Would however be nice to have an accoutrement as this for the collection.

Happy Shaving, Sam.
