Hello Gentlemen,

Those are my 'twins', one from Turkey, one from UK. Why don't you show off yours?

My twins have the same mother and father. They look almost identical.

Now Emanuel, in that first picture they are not identical. One has a red bottom and one has a black bottom. Smile

I have the red bottom but have searched everywhere for a black bottom and no one has any.Angry

Ok, you're right... nearly identical! Biggrin
A friend of mine went to a shop, situated on the city where he lives, that was carrying both models - the red&black and the black&red.

I didn't had any 1438 at the time, so I asked him to get one for me. But since I could not decide which one, I ended up asking for the two of them. Tongue Blush

Well, they don't make the black one anymore. The story I heard is that the black one was a mistake. Story goes that the original with the red bottom was discontinued and after years of request Mr. Gomes decided to make them again. Only the first batch he made had black bottoms. When he discovered his mistake he quit making them and continued with the red.

If you run across another in some small shop over there, I would be glad to pay you for your time and trouble to get one.

Neat concept for a thread!

I wish I had the 3rd part of the triplet...a Wee Scot!

Actually, while it may not look significantly smaller, it works significantly different than Ahnuld. Not better, not worse, different. After all, how can you pick a favorite child?

Be careful what you wish for, it might just come true.

A pair of Simpson 'twins'...um, sort of!

Myself and the last family MD of Simpson Brushes, my dad, Jim!

Two 'actual' twins! In fact, they are my 'babies' Wink!

And finally, two true Simpson twins...

Me too! We have a great relationship.
Notice we use the same hairdresser....
Blame it on owning Coates as well - we were both 'test beds' for the hairbrush range....

Here is a new brush which is now a twin (albeit bigger) than the Franks Shaving Synthetic. The one to the left is the H.I.S. Synthetic. Even though these are made by different companies they seem to fit the theme. The H.I.S. is larger and much more dense than the Franks Shaving Synthetic. More on the H.I.S. Synthetic at a later date.
