Hello Everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Ben and I've been a traditional wet-shaver for about 1 year 3 months. I primarily use DE Razors, but I have a Boker straight razor as well that I have been learning how to use for a few months now. Anyway, just wanted to say hello!!

Thank you everyone! Some familiar faces here for sure!

I must say that I really enjoy using a straight. I'm determined to make it part of my regular shave routine. Lately, I've been working some long hours at work and have not had the time to devote to learning the ins and outs of the straight razor shave. I've probably done about 8-10 shaves with it and another "loaner" straight from a friend. The hardest part for me is using my left (non-dominant) hand, but I know that the comfort and muscle memory will come eventually if I just stick with it. My Boker is a 5/8 Boker Edelweiss full hollow ground that I got new and shave ready from TSS. I've taken quite a break (probably 1 1/2 months) since my last straight razor shave.... but I have not lost the desire to learn with it and get proficient with it someday.
