As some here know, Kramperts Finest was recently accepted into the Maine Made program. Anyone recently buying any Kramperts Finest products hasn't been able to escape seeing the logo.

I sent an update for my Made Maine presence on the MM site regarding the new Frostbite to the lady running the MM program. She e-mailed back that we need to do a face to face. That will happen Wednesday, and she asked if I could bring product. She wants to put a display of my products up in the State Capitol Building.

Cool!

Who would have thought that something I made for myself in my kitchen, what, 3 years ago (?), would amount to anything!?

I'm loving retirement.

Seems like you might be busier in retirement. Something I am seeing with quite a few retirees today. Congrats on getting into politics?! Laughing1

Krampert is going places! Are you going to recommend that the MM lady uses Frostbite on her axillae and lower extremities for post-shave care?

Congratulations Brian. You need to post a picture on your website of your product on display at the capital.

Funny guys, Funny! Biggrin (Yes they were funny!)

After she tells me that's it set up that's exactly what I plan to do Johnny.

The downside is that it might lead to Maine sales from the website if my webmaster finds where my site is infected. I don't want that. I need to find out how to make sure I can't sell any in Maine via the 'net. I don't want to deal with sales tax. I don't want to be an unpaid state employee; read that as, "slave for the state". The farther they are from me and my business the better off I am.

Just tell them you are the manufacture and that sales have to be conducted through vendors and dealers. I'm sure Phil and Joe won't mind shipping stuff back to Maine.

The appointment got pushed up to today since Tammy had family business to attend to on Wednesday. I think it went well Biggrin . She said it would take 30-45 minutes and the wife and I left after 1 1/2 hours.

I asked her to take a picture of the display when it was up and she said she would. That saves me a 50 mile round trip. The display will be up for July, August, and September.

Brian,
Congrats!

I went to the MaineMade website. Hope you don't mind if I post the link to your MM page.
