Gentlemen,

Occasionally I write a short magazine article on traditional shaving meant for the general public. Here is the latest opus. Enjoy.

Thanks for the kind words, Pooking. Alas, it was written for a magazine. Instructional video is a whole different world. It can be adapted into a little script for an instructional video, but I don't have the time.

Stay well.

Gentlemen,
Thank you for the kind words about the article. I have done a series of these shaving pieces for this publication and its readers seem to like them, so we're on a roll. I am looking forward to doing more in the future. I'll keep you informed.
Stay well.

Nice article. The only issue that I had was this statement.

"...the DE declined in popularity after the 1950s, when multi-blade disposable blades were introduced."

That occurred at least 12-13 years later (1959 to 1972).
DE and Injector razors dominated the entire 1960s.
May have been a misprint.

GDCarrington,

If you study the statement carefully, it reads in part, "DE declined in popularity after the 1950s . . ." The word "after" in the statement covers a lot of ground.
