Like many here I keep a bunch of soaps in rotation.
It seems like I rarely get to see the bottom of a bowl. It makes me happy as I can choose a new soapShy

So for those in a similar situation THIS is what an almost empty bowl looks like.

I'm envious. I haven't finished a full size shaving product since I started participating in shave forums a year and a half ago.

Congrats! It took me almost 2 1/2 years to finish my first cream I bought (TOBS St James) and just a couple weeks ago at that.

Even with a small rotation it is nice to see that sight. I only keep three in rotation and it seems like forever before I get to pick something else out.

Crabtree & Evelyn Sandalwood.
I am a big fan of C&E. Enjoyed your post about the reformulation.

I don't think I'll be seeing this for at least another year!

With the number of soaps I have, it's a rare sighting but I noticed the contents of one of my wood bowls of MdC is starting to shrink rather quickly. Undecided

There are few things as satisfying as being confronted with an empty soap bowl.

I don't know. It seems that as soon as one is empty a puck jumps in there when I am not looking and I have to start all over again

Phil, great job! Mine never look like that as i always press the soaps down onto the bottom or keep them even, at all times. Blush
However, i usually see the bottom of my bowls as i always finish the soap i am using, then move on to the next scent!Biggrin

Congrats on a job well done & many, many wonderful shaves. Will you be replacing it or going with a different scent?

I keep a rotation, but once a soap or cream start showing signs of weakness I tend to focus in on it.
Since I started using a brush last September I've finished off:
A puck of DR Harris Arlington
A tub of RazorRock Classic
A small tube of C.O. Bigelow cream
A tube of Body Shop Maca Root cream

And I'm about a week away from finishing off a tub of Proraso White soap. After that I'll go back to a 7-day rotation for a while, but the next one I focus on will probably be the Art of Shaving Sandalwood cream.

The only soap that I've made look like that is MWF and I've done it a dozen times. The rest seem to last forever.

Yes...I have gotten to the bottom of three soaps and 1 cream since I started on the boards in 2007, (not counting the glycerine soaps or small tubes). I used the cream straight through, Taylor's St James, and the soaps were Trumper Limes Tallow, and DR Harris Marlborough, Tallow first. I have Boellis Panama in the Marlborough bowl and ABCBA in the Trumper Bowl.

I also used the last bit of a Yardley Black label that I found at an antiques store, but it was half used so that doesn't really count.
