Hi Guys,

I am in search for a decent container for my English Fern Soap, which should come next week.

Any recommendations?

Kingsley wooden bowls are nice, and they're fairly inexpensive. I have a couple for my Ogallala soaps.

I use Anchor Hocking or Pyrex 1 cup glass bowls as shown here. Most soap pucks fit perfectly in them (especially DR Harris) or will fit with slight trimming.
They come with a tight fitting lid and they stack nicely...the glass is also fairly thick. I can get them at a local discount store in a pack of 3 for $6..so about $2 per bowl, something to look for in your area maybe.

My luck with Anchor-Hocking was not good; plastic lids will not fit on the glass bowls. Got a set (sealed) from Target and found this out after I opened the package. I now have a set of small ice cream dishes.

I've bought 4 sets and they were all perfect and sealed tight. Huh

Those bowls from Connaught are nice, I have my MWF in one. My only beef with them is the lids are domed and they do not stack, which is a killer for me as my den is small and I need all the room I can get. Just a FYI in case you're in the same boat.

My black wooden bowl is from Connaught, I like it, but not as much as the Kingsley bowls. The one downside with Kingsley is that they are wide and somewhat shallow, whereas the Connaught bowls are a little bit taller and not quite as wide.

These Ikea Grundtal containers are perfect for the vintage Penhaligon's shaving soaps that Phil has been selling lately.

The bowls at Italian Barber look identical to the ones sold by Connaught.

Yes! Connaught's bowls are very nice indeed, though you will have to pair down the sides on the puck to fit them.

Truth be told...They fit perfectly in an old GFT or Cyril Salter Bowl, so if you have one of those...
