I exchanged a few emails with Mark this morning and it is official -Simpson is going to make an affordable LE brush for the Shave Nook.

The brush is still in the planning phase but Mark shared this:

Off the top of my head, here is what I see the brief being:

TSNLE logo

Individually numbered 1 – 100

Unique bespoke Simpson handle incorporating sticker

Non-standard Simpson colour handle – Possibly Horn

Best Badger hair to keep cost reasonable (and the grade we are famous for)

Price point £50.00 + £9.95 shipping (worldwide) and local taxes where appropriate

Hopefully Mark pops in to offer further details. I really would like to thank Mark for taking the initiative on this and I am looking forward to seeing what he comes up with.

Very nice, that's a great price point to keep it affordable for the most people. Can't wait to see the design.

My only fear... Will 100 be enough to satisfy our love for Simpson? I sense a "black Friday" rush for payment once these babies are released. I do hope to secure one!

I think 100 probably would be enough for just regular Nook members, but you know it will not just be regular Nook members chomping at the bit for them.
I foresee a large influx of registrations and inactive accounts firing up. Rolleyes Who knows, the Shavemac LE never really took off, of course it wasn't Simpson and the handle was a bit lackluster.

Wow, all of that sounds wonderful - handle, hair grade, price. I think it may be time to add again to my Simpsons collection.
