Hello Jack, as you can see I have amended the thread (sorry) The Emillion is in fact a Rooney...... in rather an unusual rod stock. I do have a M&F Emillion somewhere !!!!

One day I hope to have brushes such as these.

For the moment, I am content to use mostly old brushes so that I can get a feel of the type of brush I would truly enjoy.

I think I prefer a longer thicker handle, with a thicker knot and hairs that are bulbous or maybe fanlike and almost as long as the handle itself.

I seem to not like shorter handles, or thinner handles, with smaller knots and hairs that are not bulbous.
