I might as well admit it; I'm turning 40 this year. So with that in mind, my Better Half urged me to buy a toy I been wanting for... well... 32 years, give or take.

I've always had a thing for RC-toys; when I was a kid we couldn't afford them, then I didn't have time, then I couldn't justify the cost, then I figured I didn't have the time to learn how to fly them properly...

To quote my Better Half; My inner child is doing back flips right now Biggrin

Not so sure about the "deserve it" part, but boy howdy is it awesome fun... spent my lunch break in one of the hangars, having a blast Tongue

I'm having trouble - for some reason - posting a link to a video I made after the first flight. However:
www(dot)dropbox(dot)com/s/07ss2mu2llmgpe7/First%20Flight%20-%20720%20-%20muzak.mp4
Replace the (dot) with a dot (.) and it ought to load for y'all.

Oh dear, Hans and Oystein! Undecided

This sort of enabling is not helpful to a weak soul like me ... having shaving-related AD is bad enough ... and now these pics of some neat toys! Confused

Mike, it's actually one of the hangars at work... they let us use it for other stuff when they don't need it to put planes in.

daccpa, look at the video - it has a HD camera aboard (and a non-HD pointing down too).

Just finished charging the batteries... if the weather is nice I'll try it outdoors soon Wink
