Hello guys,

Recently I smelled DR Harris Bay Rum aftershave and I really loved it. But when I tried to find any info online I read that the smell of it doesn't last for a long time. So I would like your suggestions on a nice Bay Rum AS that can be found in Europe with lasting smell.

Thank you!

I have tried a few off the top:

Burt's Bees
GFT
DRH
St Johns
Captain's Choice Cat of Nine Tails

I have kept all in rotation except Bert's. St Johns and CC seem to outlast the others. I will probably drop to just CC as it is that good in my opinion. Don't know if it is available on your side of the pond.

I can easily get Pashana American Bay Rum and Jack Dean American Bay Rum. Also I can get the artisan made "barbershop bay rum" when they will have it back in stock.

Royall and Trumpers tie for first with me any longer. Royall being more traditional with menthol and Trumpers being lite on the spice and heavy on the clove.

Dominica is good stuff and great price.

St.Lucia is spicy with a pungent twist. Didn't like it at first but it grows on you.
