Hi everyone that matters!Biggrin I have a new UFO Zeus handle on order. It'll take up to six weeks for it to arrive. Does anyone have a suggestion about which head might be best for such a heavy (but short) handle? Thanks!

Congtats if6was9, what material is it being made of? I have a SS Goliath and my 2nd gen. iKon OC makes for a great shave.

Your Muhle R89 should be fine with it. You may also want to consider a Weber head as that would compliment the UFO handle, very nicely. i only have the U2V1s that Rafael made for me, but i am sure these razor heads will work out very well for you with the Goliath. Good luck. Biggrin

I use a Goodfella OC (very very mild head, especially for an OC) and an Edwin Jagger De89 head on my XL Goliath Brass and Bronze handles.

Thanks for the info about the iKon! I believe that the Zeus is made from the same SS stock that the Goliath comes from, it's just a beefier handle.

Thanks! The Weber was exactly what I was thinking about. I'd like to get a Weber DLC but they're not making them anymore. Someone on another web site (Etsy) has one for sale but just for the head they're asking $115!!! I don't want it that bad!

Thanks! Before looking at the Weber head I was considering the Goodfella head. I wanted to get the Weber DLC but it's no longer available and then I saw that GF made a satin black head but they also discontinued that style. The GF chrome does have the open comb head which I like but I'm leaning towards the Weber; I've read a lot of good things about it. I haven't made a decision yet.

Yup that is fortunate that you got yours early enough. I don't care how rare they are I'm not paying $200 or $115 or even $100 (well, maybe $100) for a razor that originally cost $55.

Thanks for the info. The Goliath's are really nice and for a while I was torn betweeen getting the Zeus or a Goliath. I was pretty sure that the Goliath was the perfect size and wondered if the Zeus was overkill. I went with the Zeus because I always listen to the voices in my head Tongue

You can't go wrong with the Weber or iKon line of heads. Most vintage 3 piece Gillette's match up well too. If you want a superb match up, just see the following picture. My absolute favorite combo!

Thanks! That's a beautiful combo; is it yours?! Too bad the Weber DLC isn't available anymore.
