Simpson Manchurian "Rover"

My latest addition, Simpson Manchurian Rover in Faux Horn.

Although heralding from the Carter era
and not one of the original Simpson designs
This little brush holds a particular appeal.

That's some gorgeous faux horn - I like how it's not the cheap looking stuff we see on some other manufacturers.

Perhaps a candidate for a re-knot Johnny?

Just kidding for anyone reading the above comment and thinking of sending me hate mail as a result!

Ben, your photograph's speak a thousand words. As always a beautiful collection, Enjoy sadly I missed out on the "Astor" but I think your right about the rod stock !!!

I have a "Rover" which I received from from West Coast Shaving but alas in faux Ivory, at the time I asked "Mark" Vulfix re The Milk Churn too join the Rover. As they do complement each other.

Now that would be nice too see a Milk Churn "Manchurian" in this faux horn rod stock............. "Mark can you hear me"

I just asked Mark about the Black Rovers!
Must change that to faux horn ASAP.

I have an Emperor 3 in faux horn, and this Rover is equally beautiful. I must say that I really like Simpsons horm material.

I agree Wim, the horn rod stock that Simpson are currently using is particularly attractive, even better than the Astor IMO.

I am partial to your black Rover but the latest almost has a vintage look to it. Nice brushes!
