My wife and I went for a walk today around Seward Park, a lovely area which is on the west shore of Lake Washington, the long (22 mi.), narrow lake that borders the city of Seattle. It was beautiful, showcasing Mt. Rainier, blooming lily pads, and sunning ducks and turtles.

All through the dreary winters, I keep telling myself, "The payoff is in the summer. The payoff is in the summer." And this year it is.

Beautiful photos! One of my friends is out in your area for a tennis tournament at Nordstrom Tennis Center. He has posted many wonderful pictures and absolutely loves it, I'm starting to doubt he'll come back!

The SIZE of America always AMAZES me, I was comparing like for like, the widest part of the UK is 301 miles, the narrowest part (the bit I live in) is a tiny 70 miles wide, you could literally walk it in a day.(providing you made an early start)

Sam.

Wonderful pictures, John. I've never been to Seattle, but hope to visit someday ... I guess I should come in the summer! Smile

Hi John

Beautiful photos from a beautiful part of the country, the wife's dad and his family are from the surrounding area...

Our long term plan is to move there (Washington state).

Take care, Mike
