Hi guys, just registered on the forum and thought I nip in to say hello. Been hanging out over on The Shaving Room as I'm from the UK and have been DE shaving for just under a year, but I have managed to resist too many purchases so far. Only 2 razors in my cupboard, an EJ89 and a Merkur Futur, which is my everyday razor. Two brushes as well and again an EJ best badger and more recently a Semogue boar which is the one I use every day, just love it.

I really fancy a straight but know that I won't be able to maintain it so am looking to get a Feather AC in the next couple of months, which is as close as I'm likely to get to a straight but without all 'the hassle' of keeping the edge. I know some of you think this is part of the art, but it's not for me!

Long intro, but hi!

Cheers
Matt

Matt, welcome to The Shave Nook.

Nothing wrong with using a Feather Artist Club Razor of your choice. They are great razors.

Welcome to The Shave Nook, Matt, and enjoy your stay. Smile

I tried a straight and, like you, decided I wasn't up to the maintenance aspect of it. There is nothing wrong with that. Indeed, we even have at least one member here who uses a cartridge razor as his daily go to. All aspects of shaving are brought up here at one time or another and it's all good. Thumbsup
