Hello friends.

When I saw these photos of the seller, I could not resist. The attraction was irresistible.

So I have it at home. It is absolutely new, with its documentation and wrapping paper, plus some advertising, and the box while not immaculate, not bad at all.

I think this brush carries the central body of the knot in horse hair and exterior of badger hair. Is a knot of 20 mm diameter and a loft of 50 mm. It has come quite dry and brittle hair. It sheds a little. With the wash has shed some hair more. I'll try to use it this way, and if I do not like it, I will change the knot by a new one, probably finest badger two bands. The handle I think is black painted wood, and the cap is aluminum.

Horse and badger knot
Knot diameter 20 mm
Knot loft 50 mm
Handle height 59 mm (24 + 35)
Total height 109 mm

Handle cap diameter 25.8 mm
Narrow diameter 14.5 mm
Base diameter 29 mm

Weight 34 gr

That is a rather unique looking brush, looks a bit like it's wearing a toupée!

When I clicked on it, I thought you were referring to the FS brushes from the modern Star Shaving.

This is so much cooler. Cool

I'm progressing with it. I gave it disinfection with Darodor Sinaldehyd 2000 to 12%. 60 minutes. I know you will say I am an exaggeration, but I am very scrupulous.
After several rinses. After lathering with dishwasher. After lathering with JabonMan lavender cream. And after a session of soothing and moisturizing for the hair. Lathering with it. Rinsed again. Wait a couple of hours through dry. Another session of soothing and moisturizing for the hair. Rinsed again. And I have it drying. I'll try to use it well. I think I can use the knot. For lathering at face has some backbone and I would like more another knot, but the uniqueness of this knot to two hairs, is possible just saves it and I will not cut. We'll see.

In another vein, I tried to paint the letters black. It looked completely sinister. It seemed excessive. So I have cleared the paint again. I will preserve the polished aluminum cap, as he came from. Unpainted letters.

Here you can see. It is not enamel. It is wax crayons. Not as dark as Tamiya Semi Gloss Black Acrylic Paint, not as solid, but it works just to see the effect.
Tomorrow I will lathering with it, and probably with warm water the wax will go out. But we can see the effect. With enamel the effect was more intense, more dark.

Now I'm enjoying it. Let's see if I have to paint the letters with acrylic paint again, ha ha.
