Gentlemen, do any of you use your apple devices and photo app editors for pictures? If so, which do you prefer? I have been using picshop and aviary but one doesn't let me resize while the other (picshop) causes the pictures to be very grainy when resized to any size smaller than original. I keep having to post non resized pics here because they look horrible resized with my apps. Any suggestions? Hmm

Photogene 2 gets my vote, I also use Camera+ on occasion.

If all you're wanting to do is resize, Faststone Photo Resizer, a free app, is a good one.

Thanks for the reply's guys. I purchased the photogene app a bit ago, it seems to work well. Still not as crisp as the original when re-sized to 800 as requested here, but not really grainy either.

GIMP is a free alternative to photoshop. I use iPhoto for basic stuff and Lightroom for more serious things.
