Well gents I kinda ADed this weekend. I had a little cash in my Pay Pal and won 3 auctions on the bay. Plus Beartrap and I traded The Veg he hates for the Sultans I hate. So that means 4 packages arriving on the Savage doorstep.

Today while I'm humping away in the salt mine I get a phone call from my lovely wife...
HER: So I see you've been ordering stuff off the internet again?
ME: Don't worry Hunnie I didn't spend much.
HER: That's not the point. You just received NOT 1, NOT 2, BUT 3 packages today!!!
ME: Don't worry Hunnie I didn't spend much.
HER: YOU GOT 2 LAST WEEK !!!
ME: But Hunnie one of those was a pass around.
HER: I don't care JOSEPH. YOU SPEND TOO MUCH MONEY on shaving.
ME: But Hunnie I ENJOY shaving.
HER: I'm going to spend some money on ME this week....
ME: OK dear. If that makes you happy. I spent a total of $25.00. I'll give you $25.00 to spend on yourself.....
HER: $25.00 CHEAPSKATE.....
At this point the call ended...On her side...lol

WAIT till the last package gets here. I'm going to write up my Last Will and Testament tonight.... Wish me luck. She's 114lbs of rattlesnake... I'm going for what may be my last shave now... Nice knowin' ya'll !!!

Hey, Sav, what's $300 to save a marriage? Besides, then you're back to zero and can start spending again. Biggrin

I am so lucky that my bride is an enabler when it comes to shaving. She encourages me to spend money on gear/creams/soaps/colognes/etc.

I asked her why she was so amiable and got the reply, "This is a whole lot cheaper than your other hobby". I have been a motorcyclist for 50 yrs so go figure how much I've spent there.

Still, I'm a lucky guy

I discuss all my purchases whether it is shaving supplies or fountain pens/inks. I do not encounter any problems by handling that way.

Sounds like an interesting story. I have only been wet shaving since February and the other night my significant other wanted to add up the cost of everything I have purchased since then. I just went, well it's not that much and ended the conversation. I told her I am putting myself on a sabbatical and she just laughed.

Now this would work out well. The wife finally forgets about the shave goodies, especially after he gives her some big spending money. Time goes by and one day the wife decides to look at the will. Next words out of her mouth is, who the hell is Pam.Biggrin

Settled out of court for $75.00. Now I have to figure out how to sneak in a strop from Kavik79. AND some lapping film from a dealer. I'm pretty sure I'm on parole right now. If I get caught it's gonna cost me a freakin' arm and a leg...

I'll try this.. "But Darling my new straight razor is worthless without a strop And this cool lapping film. Do you know how much Japanese honing stones would have cost"? That's my defense. Well, what do you people think. Will that work as a defense? Hope so cause if not I'll be doing hard time in the doghouse with an even stiffer fine.....

Too bad. I'm doing it.... I LIKE to live DANGEROUSLY !!!! lol

Maybe you should let her review this forum and see all the pictures posted. Then she would realize you are not the one with the problem.
