Over the weekend I picked up my first SR and a Barber's Hone-Strop
Loeffler & Sykes "Kutezy"
They're both from my neck of the woods and once I talked the person down to $30 for the pair, I jumped on the deal.
I'll probably be sending the razor off to Larry @ Whipped Dog for honing, then try to refurb the strop/hone myself.

Nice find. The razor looks to be in very good condition. Keep in mind that Larry has some family issues right now, and that turn around on honing is a little longer than usual. Not to discount his work, because he does a fine job. The hone/strop is very cool, I have been looking for some good local NY products myself.

I actually bought the Poor Man Strop kit from Larry and I passed my razor on to Mike Mason at Mason Razorworks for replacing the scales. While he had it, he also honed it for me as well.
