Steve (oscar11) is working on the custom handle for me to match with my IB brush that started to peel. It's been over 2 months, but that's besides the point, I guess he is busy.
I got impatient and traded for TBS on the whim, since it was exactly what I was looking for in hair and handle (or so I thought). I do like that hair, but that handle just uncomfortable for me. I haven't seen one review of this brush, so I thought I'd post it here for history.
If I do decide to sell, Antony has dibs as he was the one that turned me onto this brush.

Guys, thanks for the PMs, but I believe it's ok to post your questions here. It is not against forum rules to discuss LE brushes from other forums Biggrin

1. I think it was 24x50, 90% tops, same handle size as TSN LE and il Rasoio LE.
2. I did not buy, I've traded for it. I never knew it existed while it was on sale, which I understand lasted only 1 day for 100 brushes.

I believe the measures of that brush is 22x50mm, since a 24mm knot would simply not fit into that handle.

The handle is the same as the Il Rasoio brush, and somewhat alike the Semogue LE TSN. Smile

And yes, you may discuss that brush here with no problem at all! Smile

It may be Emanuel, I didn't measure it and read no specs on it. No one really knew about it Confused

I've came to know about it through facebook... there was an ordering list and all, and there were brushes available when I came to know about it. I thought of ordering one for myself, but I was able to refrain my SBAD (Semogue Brush Acquisition Disorder) on this one Smile

I'll shed some light on the matter Shy

I started this project while on vacations in Portugal, where I have family.

The whole thing started pretty much spontaneously, but after some time and small changes in the plan, things started coming together.

I got help from Alternator, he made the logo on the bottom of the brush, and helped me with the general organisation of the project.

We tried to do it as democratically as possible, so that the group decided by polls, which knot, color and so on the brush should have.

We ended up with a handle like the Il Rasoio brush, but with a 22mm knot, a 50mm loft. And premium boar bristles with 90% tops.

Here are some pictures.

In your user cp there are two way to do it. You can be notified by email when you have a message and you can also set it where this yellow bar appears on the top of the screen to let you know you have a PM when you login. If you should need help with that, let me know.

Sorry, I don't visit other subforums (apart from SOTD) very often and I've just seen this comment now.

I have this brush #90/100 as this is my birth year. The knot is very nice and dense and the brush has broken in so quickly it's ridiculous. The flow of this brush is also very nice. I had an Omega mighty midget boar a while back and the knot was a bit too stiff for my taste. The Semogue knot blooms a bit like a badger brushes do. I think this is also the reason that the tips are nice and soft. And if the bristles were dyed you wouldn't know you were using a boar - they are almost as soft as my Frank Shaving Finest and WSP knots.

I definitely do not regret that I got this brush. It's my first Semogue and probably won't be my last. Now I (finally )see why a lot of people prefer Semogue to Omega.

Lastly, I hope you don't mind me posting an image of a recent shave with this brush:

Somehow I missed this thread and now I'm wondering how to get my hands on one of these brushes. It looks right up my alley.

I'm with you. If there was a way I could get a large loft, 60mm or so, as in the Semogue 2000, set into one of these handles, that would be a big brush according to my definition. This is a beautiful piece of shaving equipment, to say the least.
