When I was 15 years old, I was given a couple of shaving kits by an elderly relative. I really didn't see the use for them at the time, so I put them away, never touched them, and completely forgot about them.

Now, 16 years later, my parents in the middle of renovating their house. They found these kits in the back of a closet, and gave me a call to see if I still wanted them before they got rid of them. Of course I did! So this weekend I finally had the chance to stop by (they live about 2 and a half hours away) and I picked them up.

It looks like the brush may be a synthetic. Other than that I can't tell much about it other than it was part of a Body Shop set.

It's like a Thrift shop score that I already owned!

That's Great. Wish it was an Old Gillette Razor though.

I'll probably try the brush out at some point. I'll hold on to the razor in case I need to fly with only carry-ons.

How fun to have that back in your life.

I'll be candid and say the sets I have seen are almost always unused. They seem to have been a great gift idea but the recipient may not have ever traveled and so they literally were never used.
