A big thanks to Bob of Elite Razors and Lee of Wetshaving Products, both contributing members on the forum, for making this custom happen. They were both very accommodating and helpful with my requests. The brush is, in a word, fantastic.

Wow, Tom, that is a gorgeous brush! That is Desert Ironwood, right? We may have the same brush, but with different shades of brown! Biggrin

Y'all have to stop this. This is the 2nd Desert Ironwood I've seen today in the lovely E7 style. Quite beautiful Tom. Which knot from WSP did you choose?

Nice, same specs as mine for the knot. I enjoy it so much it is hard to use my other brushes.

Tom, great to hear the brush performed well! You do know that the 26mm ones work even better! Biggrin

I actually did enjoy the larger WSP two band knots quite a bit but feel like a smaller, non-XD knot may be what I'm looking for right now. Those larger knots certainly look great in your oscar11 handles, Celestino.

It seems we had the same idea! Gorgeous brush! I love mine. The knot is like Manchurian with Simpson 2 Band soft tips...
And the handle is simply amazing! Below is mine...

Georg, great minds must think alike Wink

I like the finer burl on your example, and what a combination of characteristics that knot has!

Mine is the HMW two-band (non-Super) and I am more than happy with it. Just the right amount of backbone and very soft tips that lend to a caressing sort of lathering experience. To compare to the other WSP range that I believe you have also tried: less backbone than the Finest, less density than the XD and softer, thinner hairs than the SuperFine. This one is right up my alley.

Agree fully with your judgement!
A fantastic handle and knot!
I like it so much I have Bob create another E7 for me in Amboyna burl with a WSP HMW Super Special Grade knot... Biggrin

Thank you, Jordy. I've been enjoying it the last several days. Great heft and ergonomics of the handle and the business end has very soft, silvertip-like tips, fine hair and just-right density and splay for me.

* Thanks for your kind words, Tom, and I really enjoy photographing them. One of the best combinations of knot and handle I have ever used! Biggrin
