Hello, everyone. i hope you are all well.
The family and i and two of my son's friends went on a hike to a very famous mountain called Stawamus Chief, or simply, The Chief by us folks, located around 45 minutes north of Vancouver on the way to Whistler. It is a very famous rock-climbing site as it has an amazing vertical wall! We went around the back for our hike up to the first peak and not up the wall. Biggrin
i hope you all enjoy the pics. We found an interesting little surprise that you will see in the last pic.

Johnny & John, thanks for you kind words.
It is quite high, John, and a bit intimidating when you are at the top. Nonetheless, the view is spectacular!Biggrin
Johnny, it is only BC that is like this and the western part of Alberta in the Rocky Mountians as the rest of the country is completely different!Biggrin

That looks like a great hike, celestino. The view is simply spectacular.

I wish I'd taken more images when I went on a hike with my girlfriend and her siblings 2 weeks ago. I haven't hiked in a while and I quite liked it.

Celestino, you all sound as though you had a wonderful time there. Approx 40km from where I live is called the Lake District and again quite dramatic scenery "not quite" on the scale as Strawamus chief.

Thanks for sharing...... great photographs.

Celestino, the photos are great. Please continue to share them as I enjoy them as much as I do Mike's garden and DIY photos and Yohann's family outing and family cat pictures, and all of the others that our members share. It's like taking a trip without ever leaving the comfort of my armchair. Thank you for taking the time to post. Smile

Tom, Mike, Michael, & Ravi,
thanks you gentlemen. It is a pleasure to share the photos with you. We live in such a beautiful location that i feel almost embarrassed to live here and have access to this every day, especially, in the summer. Consequently, sharing this place with you all in my pics is a pleasure! i will keep on doing this if you don't get bored of them!Biggrin

Pennsylvania is just like BC, Celestino ... except for the lack of beautiful mountains, lovely ocean water, and harsher weather ... Biggrin
