I was doing some cleaning today and emptying of boxes when I came across my dad's Old Spice shave mug and brush.

The Brush is stamped 89 Ever-Ready and the mug has Old Spice 13 Shulton on the bottom. Is there anyway to date these? I need to find someone reputable to re-knot the brush for me. Then I'm going to use these. This has brought back a lot of fond memories. Here's to you dad.

Great find!
You can narrow the date by looking at this site. Looks maybe like Early Mug 00 and I imagine the brush would be around the same time frame.

Dave, contact our good member Gary Carrington. If he has time, he does an excellent job of restoring these old Ever Ready brushes.

Great mug!

I still use my dad's Gillette tech razor and it's a sobering thought that I have something that he used on the morning he heard that JFK had been assasinated

Great find - I'm rather jealous. I did inquire my old man about his old shaving gear, just to be told he threw it all away when he decided that he would not shave his full beard off Dodgy

Amazing find. The brush and mug are beautiful. I am hoping to one day find an Ever Ready brush for a restore, hopefully one of my fathers or grandfathers.
