Hi! I found that the Goodfellas razor was way too mild for me but after putting on a Muhle handle, it became a different animal. It’s certainly easier to hold on to and its slightly more aggressive than with the stock handle. I prefer it this way.

Good for you! The Goodfella is notoriously mild, but it is still capable of getting the job done.

I think there is more than a few that have fallen for the unique matte black head and have done similarly to you pairing it with a more substantial handle...

That looks like a good combination. I use my Goodfella head on a UFO Goliath handle, and it works quite well.

That's exactly how I use mine. I find the handle that's supplied with the razor to be nicely finished but way too small and tends to slip when wet. So, UFO to the rescue. Looks great and feels great.

Congratulations on the combination! If you can, do try one of the UFO handles as they are magnificent! Biggrin

I had a problem with my Goodfella handle
I made some changes but they didn't work.

So i decided to make a new handle for this DE

Now it's much better
You can use the majority of the handles like Muhle,Merkur,Gillete,Ikon etc
The bolt is the same.

THanks! I can imagine the Goliath being attached to the GF head; it's what I'm thinking about too but when my Zeus arrives I might attach it to my Weber. We'll have to see...

Again, I agree; the GF handle is a nice piece of work but it does get a bit slippery. Seems like the UFO's are popular here, I guess that's why it takes six weeks to get one!

Thanks for the advice and as you can see above, plans for the UFO Zeus are in the making!

I was surprised at how mild the GF really was. I use it for my third pass with a clear cream.
