Just bought this for a nice price :-)
Hope it will serve me well. It's the 68.th badger brush in my collection.

I bought one and sold it shortly after I received it. I think the hair and workmanship are top notch, but I just couldn't warm up to the handle. The handle was the only thing about it I didn't like, everything else about it was good for me.

The handle is why I've never pulled the trigger on one. It just doesn't look like it's for me. This brush has some ardent fans for sure. Where's Turtle?

My view is the same the previous gents.
The handle shape and appearance is such that it never stirred by SBAD. It's well known that men are visual creatures. That's why we enjoy brush porn pix!

Good Day,

MaxP

I have one and highly recommend the brush. The workmanship and performance are top notch. As for the handle, it is very comfortable in the hand and the black and silver combination is striking. It will be a wonderful addition to your collection. As for the shape of the handle, it certainly is different than a traditionally shaped shaving brush handle, and I mean that in a positive way. It has German quality and Italian style...an agreeable combination.

I originally would get the Davinci 296, the classic handled version, but already own 3-4 handles in that shape - so thought this handle looked fancy enough to pull the trigger and make the purchase Cool

If I hate it, I'll just order the classic 296 version.

For me, the handle shape is the most comfortable of any brush i've held.
Couple that with a fantastic knot and it is one of my favorite brushes.

+1 I also loved the hair and workmanship. I'm not really a packaging guy; but their packaging was a great presentation too. However, the handle was too slippery for me. I sold mine after 4-5 uses.

Looks too much like a giant MakeUp brush for me to even consider using.

I know a few are fans of it, but not enough for me to tske the plunge on one of the more traditional shaped handles.

I'm not a fan of the MSRP and sales they have all the time either....

I have one and its one of my favorite brushes. The knot is awesome and the handle is much more comfortable than it looks.

I have huge hands, but actually didn't mind the handle. The divinci is an excellent example of a medium-dense silvertip with excellent flowthrough. Minus the handle, it actually feels pretty comparable to my Simpson Polo 8 3-band.

I've had one for about a year. I agree with "yellafella321's" assessment, "a medium-dense silvertip with excellent flowthrough."

I actually like the handle, but overall. . . .it's an OK brush. I prefer a denser knot. With the other brushes I have, the 293 doesn't see much use.
