how big was the photo (file size) and which format (.jpg, .bmp, .png, etc.)?

If you are going to attach a picture from your desktop as I do, two things have to happen.
1. You cannot use quick reply, you have to click the New Reply button.
2. The picture should idealy be 640 X 480 pixels.
You click on the little square that looks like it has two mountain peaks and a moon in it.

or, if you're hosting the photos of a different site, just place the image between [img][/img] tags.

Forget the square with mountain peaks and moon.
Follow my steps 1 and 2 above. Below where you type in your message you will see New Attachmet, click on choose file, this will bring up your desk top. Choose what picture you want to add, click okay or open (whatever your computer says), then click Add Attachment. The system assigns your photo a number, click Incert File and that number will appear below your post (if that is where your cursor is), click on Post Reply and your done.
This sounds a lot more complicated than it is.

I just successfully posted. The truth is that I had it figured out last night but when I went to preview the thread before actually posting, it would not show the pictures, only an attachment number. I did the same thing this morning and hit post and the pictures were there.

Good lord, what number do you have? That koa has an awesome flame to it.
I live in PA, where the great Martin guitars are made. I can't afford one, sadly, but I've played a few. I've owned many great guitars, but settled with an ESP; which is funny because I was never a fan of Japanese guitars until I played one of these.
Martins are my dream acoustic, maybe I'll win the lottery someday and be able to buy one. lol
