IDK why, but I am on a bit of a straight binge lately. This one says The Southern BS Co Germany & Roanoke Va on one side and THE CLIPPER on the other. No apparent honing beyond whatever the factory put on it. Unfortunately some surface rust I have to clean from the elements. Anyone know anything about these? I can't find anything anywhere.

I've cleaned it up a lot. Need to take another photo. It is still able to pop hair on arms and legs, amazingly.

Looks to be in super condition, you can see what's left of the blued or blacked tang, with minimal effort you could have that razor looking brand new, remove the blade give the blade and tang a complete clean and polish, re blue the tang with some gun blue, then polish the scales re-pin the razor. hone razor and enjoy.

Not so sure it is completely necessary atm. I've gotten to this point with not a whole lot of fuss. All of the corrosion seemed extremely superficial. It didn't even give me drama at the pivot. I took a dull piece of soft metal and it came off like nothing and the rest came off with a brush and some some polish. No active rust anywhere. It's just a really nice razor.

It left me with a runway strip on my ankle. It surprised me. I thought the edge wasn't too badly degraded but I didn't think it would have survived that well all these years in hiding....
