I know Mikes has a vetiver soap, and I have yet to try it. Was wondering if anyone else makes one ? I tried the L'occitane vetivyr frag and I absolutely love it. Would love a soap like this.

PannaCrema has a nice vetiver soap.

JabonMan Tierra Humeda is a vetiver based soap.

There are many others, but these are the two that I'm most familiar with.

I also recommend Savon du Midi Vetyver. It is an excellent French shaving soap.

Ah yes, Joshua ... the PannaCrema soaps are perpetually out of stock, and quickly sell out when a new batch is made available. Get on their 'mailing/message list' by registering on the website ... you will then get an update prior to the next release.

I'll send you a PM ... in order to purchase JabonMan new, one must email Manuel (the artisan) directly (he has no website currently) ... he will send an itemized list of what's available as well as pricing ... payment is made via PayPal ... soaps arrive and enjoyment commences! Biggrin

Thanks Agravic!

I also saw that creed has a vetiver shave soap, but it was like $40 dollars for the puck and $80 for the puck with a jar. Just way to much for me.

Mike's makes a wonderful Vetiver. Other than those already mentioned, I'd consider Barrister & Mann (their products are at least as good as Mike's) Vetiver, Heather & Cleary Sage, as well as Tabula Rasa, Vetiver/Tangerine.

I find the Jabonmen Tierra Húmeda very different from other vetyver soaps. Its a (strong) earthy scent. I dont like it...

Queen Charlotte Soaps makes a much better scented one, more herbal, but also earth-y.

Altough rather a cream than a soap, Tabula Rasa makes a superb one, nice herbal-ih vetvyer scent and freakin' awesome performance.

IMHO Shy

I most likely need to do this on BST. I have always wanted to try the Vetiver soap but have never got around to ordering some.

I have a twice used puck of Mama Bear Ye Olde Shave Shop that does not work for me. The scent is wonderful; however, I am not a fan of the glycerin soap. I would like to trade for some vetiver. Any amount...just would like some.

Thanks.....Ed

Depending on your price range?

Love this stuff, I ask Santa for it every 2 or 3 years. If you use it in a rotation, yes it will last that long.
